Cllr Tony Clarke outlines the modern virtues of independence in an age when all of the three main political party’s seem to have abandoned their individuality and left behind them their core principles abandoned at the door of opportunism and power.

He argues that far from being in a minority, those of us that reject the status quo are actually in the majority and that without the restrictions of party whips voter representation can be rescued from the jaws of an ever hungry political monster.
